Your ID cards, safe in your pocket
Wallet keeps encrypted copies of your NIN slip, voter's card, driver's licence, international passport, BVN and other IDs. You can scan both sides, get reminders before they expire, and share a watermarked copy when someone asks for ID.
Everything in Wallet.
NIN slip, voter's card, driver's licence, international passport, BVN and "Other ID", with number, name, dates and notes.
Live edge detection finds the card, then straightens it; or choose a photo instead.
See your IDs as a stack of cards, with numbers hidden except the last 4 digits until you tap.
Reminders 90, 30 and 7 days before a document expires, and on the day.
Share a copy stamped "Copy for" your stated purpose and the date, such as Bank KYC or Hotel check-in.
Shared copies are never saved to storage and expire after 10 minutes.
Wallet opens with your screen lock and closes as soon as you leave it; screenshots are blocked.
Up and running in three steps.
- Set a screen lock, then open Wallet and add a document.
- Scan the front and back, check the corners and fill in the details.
- Tap a card to view it, or share a watermarked copy when needed.
Wallet has no internet access, so your IDs never leave the phone unless you share a watermarked copy; scans are captured to memory, not saved as photos.
Wallet questions.
01Does it read the details off my card?
No. It straightens the photo, but you type the fields yourself.
02Can someone see my ID from the lock screen?
No. There is no lock screen access, and every open needs an unlock.
03What do reminder notifications show?
Only that a document expires soon. Names and numbers never appear.
04Can I take back a shared copy?
Not once the other app has it, which is why every copy is watermarked with its purpose and date.
