Scanner

Turn paper into clean, searchable PDFs

Scanner uses your camera to find the edges of a page, straighten it and save it as a sharp PDF or picture. It can read the text so you can find a scan by its words, and lets you sign documents with your finger.

What it does

Everything in Scanner.

1Finds the page edges

The camera spots the page and straightens it, or you drag the corners yourself.

2Multi-page scans

Add, reorder and delete pages before saving.

3Clean-up filters

Original, Greyscale or Black & white, applied to one page or all.

4PDF or picture

Save as a PDF in Documents › Scans, or as a JPEG, with a smaller-file option for WhatsApp and email.

5Searchable text

Reads the text on the phone so the PDF is searchable and you can copy the words.

6Sign documents

Draw your signature or take it from a photo, then place, resize and date it on a page.

7Import from Photos

Scan from a picture you already have.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Point the camera at a document and tap the shutter.
  2. Adjust the corners, choose a filter and add more pages.
  3. Save as PDF or JPEG and share it.
Your privacy

Scanner has no internet access; scans and text reading stay on the phone, and your saved signature is kept encrypted on the phone only.
