The sovereign network. No SIM. No country.
CubeNet is the private network that carries every Cubeline. Your calls and messages are routed through its onion network, run by staked nodes instead of a mobile carrier, so your line works anywhere you have internet.
Not neededany internetNone, no roamingworks anywhereCubeNet nodesstaked on chainA phone network nobody can take from you.
CubeNet replaces the parts of a mobile network that tie you to a company and a country.
Sovereign
Run by nodes that stake on Cube Chain, not by a telecom company. No carrier sits in the middle, and nobody can reissue your number to someone else.
Private
Everything is encrypted on your phone before it leaves. Onion routing then hides who is talking to whom, even from the nodes carrying it.
No SIM card
Your Cubeline is your number. Wi-Fi, mobile data from any SIM, or a hotspot is all it needs.
No country
No country code and no roaming. A Cubeline in Lagos calls a Cubeline in London the same way it calls next door.
Follow a message through CubeNet.
Step through it and see what each part of the network can and can't see.
What changes.
Every part sees as little as possible.
Privacy on CubeNet doesn't depend on trusting anyone. Each part of the network is built so it can't learn more than it needs.
A node on your path
- Sees
- The node before it and the node after it.
- Can't see
- Both ends of a conversation, or what is inside.
The swarm
- Sees
- Which account a sealed message is for.
- Can't see
- Who sent it, or what it says.
A call relay
- Sees
- Two encrypted connections it joins together.
- Can't see
- What is said. Each caller sees only the relay, never the other's address.
File storage
- Sees
- An encrypted file, and its size.
- Can't see
- The photo, voice note or document inside.
Notifications
- Sees
- That your phone has something new to collect.
- Can't see
- The message. Your phone fetches and opens it itself.
Egoras
- Sees
- Your Cubeline and username, which are public on chain.
- Can't see
- Your messages, your calls or your private key.
One network, everything you send.
Chats and groups
One-to-one chats and groups, stored by swarms until every phone collects them.
Cube App →Voice and video calls
Rung over CubeNet, then carried end to end encrypted through a relay. Group calls too.
Cubeline →Photos, files and voice notes
Encrypted on your phone, then stored as data nobody else can open.
Cube App →Channels
Public communities anyone can join with a link, from news to neighbourhood groups.
Cube App →Cubeline lookups
Dial an 11-digit Cubeline and the phone looks it up on Cube Chain to find who to reach.
How lookups work →CubeOS Phone and Messages
On a CubeOS phone the built-in dialer and Messages app reach any Cubeline over CubeNet.
CubeOS →Staked on chain, paid to stay honest.
Every CubeNet node locks up CUBEX on Cube Chain to join. The stake is public, and it is what keeps the network running for everyone.

CubeNet questions.
The network, in plain words.
01Do I need a SIM card?
No. Your Cubeline is your number and CubeNet carries it over the internet. Wi-Fi, mobile data from any SIM, or a friend's hotspot all work.
02Does my Cubeline work in another country?
Yes, the same way it works at home. There is no country code and no roaming, so you keep one Cubeline wherever you go.
03Are my calls onion routed?
The call is rung through CubeNet's onion network like a message, so nobody on the path learns who is calling whom. Once answered, your voice travels end to end encrypted through a call relay, so neither of you ever sees the other's IP address.
04Can Egoras or the nodes read my messages?
No. Messages are encrypted on your phone for the person you are writing to. Nodes only ever carry and store sealed data they cannot open.
05What does "onion routing" mean?
Your phone wraps a message in layers, like an onion, one for each of three hops. Each hop can open only its own layer, which tells it where to pass the message next. No single hop knows both who sent it and where it is going.
06Why is it called sovereign?
Because no telecom company owns your line. Your Cubeline is recorded on Cube Chain and controlled by your private key, and the nodes that carry it are staked on the same chain.
07What happens if a node goes offline?
Messages wait in a swarm, a group of nodes that each keep a copy, so one node going down loses nothing. Your phone also picks a fresh path through other nodes.
08Can I call someone without a Cubeline?
CubeNet connects Cubelines, so the person you call needs one too. They can get it in minutes with Cube App or a CubeOS phone.

Spin your Cubeline in Cube App, and CubeNet carries it to any country, with no SIM card.
