Make your charge last through outages
Battery shows your charge, battery health and which apps use the most power. Its NEPA mode is a one-tap extreme saver for long power cuts, and it puts every setting back exactly as it was when you turn it off.
Everything in Battery.
Level, charging state, time to 80% or full, time left, temperature, voltage and current.
An hourly chart of your battery level, shaded where the phone was charging.
See which apps used the most battery since the last full charge.
Maximum capacity and charge cycle count.
A reminder to unplug at 80, 85 or 90%, once per charge.
Battery saver, dim screen, short timeout, sync off and non-essential apps paused, while Phone, Messages, Torch, Clock and your picks keep working.
At 20, 10 and 5% it opens a text to a contact you choose; nothing is sent automatically.
Turning NEPA mode off puts back exactly the settings it changed, even after a restart.
Coming soon: "Turn on when the light goes" (switching NEPA mode on automatically from Up NEPA) is shown but disabled, because Up NEPA doesn't send that signal yet.
Up and running in three steps.
- Open Battery to see your charge, health and usage.
- When the light goes, turn on NEPA mode from the card or Quick Settings tile.
- When power is back, tap the prompt to turn NEPA mode off.
Battery doesn't request internet access; its history and settings stay on the phone.
Battery questions.
01Can it stop charging at 80%?
No. This phone doesn't let apps limit charging, so Battery reminds you to unplug instead.
02Which apps keep working in NEPA mode?
Phone, Messages, CubeLine, Torch, Contacts, Clock and Up NEPA, plus any apps you add, and essentials like your keyboard and Settings.
03Will NEPA mode text people for me?
No. It opens a message draft at low battery for you to send yourself.
