01Does it show black-market rates?

No. There's no reliable public source for parallel-market rates, so you enter the rate you were quoted.

02Are the reference rates what my bank will charge?

No. They're mid-market rates; banks and bureaux add a spread.

03Does it work without data?

Yes. Sums and tools always work, and the last saved rates stay available.
