01Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Egoras Technologies PLC ("Egoras", "we") for using CubeLine on Android, iPhone, desktop and CubeOS phones, its Cubeline numbers, CubeNet, the wallet and our related websites (together, "CubeLine"). By creating an account or using CubeLine you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use CubeLine.
02Who can use CubeLine
- You must be at least 13, or older if your country requires it to use a service like this without a parent's consent.
- Explore (dating) is only for people 18 and over.
- You can't use CubeLine if we have banned you, or if the law where you are forbids it.
03Your account and your keys
- You sign up with a username and a password and get a Cubeline number. Keep your details accurate and don't pretend to be someone else.
- Your private key (the 13 words) and your password are yours alone. They are created and kept on your device. Egoras never sees them and cannot recover them. If you lose your private key you can lose access to your account, messages and wallet for good.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping your device secure.
- Your Cubeline is licensed to you to use, not sold. You can't sell or transfer it except through features we provide. A deleted or banned account's Cubeline is retired.
04Rules for using CubeLine
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not use CubeLine to:
- sexually exploit or endanger children, or share child sexual abuse material (see our child safety standards);
- harass, bully, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone;
- share hate speech, or promote violence, terrorism or self-harm;
- share sexual content without consent, or any sexual content involving minors;
- scam, defraud, phish, or launder money;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or use automated accounts;
- impersonate a person or organisation;
- break the law, or infringe others' intellectual property or privacy;
- spread malware, or attack, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or get unauthorised access to CubeLine, CubeNet or other users.
Use Report and Block in the app, or write to support@egoras.com. We review reports, act on them within 24 hours where we can, remove content we can reach, and ban accounts that break these rules. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
05Your content
You own what you send and post. Messages, calls and files are end to end encrypted, so we cannot see them. For content you post where others can see it, such as public channels, profiles, status updates and Explore, you give Egoras a worldwide, free licence to host, store and show it only to run CubeLine, for as long as it stays posted. You must have the right to share everything you post.
06Wallet, crypto and payments
- CubeLine's wallet is self-custodial software. Egoras does not hold your crypto, is not a bank, exchange or financial adviser, and cannot freeze, move, reverse or recover your funds or transactions.
- Blockchain transactions are final. Check the Cubeline, network and amount before you confirm. Sending to the wrong network or person can lose funds permanently.
- Crypto is risky. Prices change fast and you can lose money. Nothing in CubeLine is investment advice.
- Swaps and bridges are routed by LI.FI through independent exchanges and bridges that Egoras does not run or control; their terms and risks apply. Network fees go to the blockchain.
- CubeLine fee: sends, swaps and bridges on networks other than Cube Chain include a 0.875% fee, shown before you confirm.
- Naira wallet (Nigeria, Android): deposits are processed by Korapay and withdrawals by 100Pay. We may set limits, ask for information the law requires, and refuse or hold a transaction to comply with the law or stop fraud.
- You are responsible for any taxes on your transactions.
07Changes to CubeLine
We keep improving CubeLine and may add, change or remove features. CubeLine depends on the internet, CubeNet nodes, blockchains and service providers, so we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
08Ending your use
You can stop using CubeLine and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access, without notice where the law allows, if you break these terms, to protect others, or if the law requires it. Your wallet and keys stay yours: you can keep using your funds with your keys in any compatible wallet.
09Disclaimers and liability
CubeLine is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Egoras gives no warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or lost crypto caused by lost keys, mistaken transactions, blockchain or third-party failures. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you paid Egoras in the 12 months before the claim and 50,000 Naira. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
You agree to compensate Egoras for claims caused by your breaking these terms or the law.
10Apps from the App Store
If you got CubeLine from Apple's App Store: these terms are between you and Egoras, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for CubeLine, its content, maintenance or support, or for any claims about it (including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims). If CubeLine fails to meet a warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo or on a U.S. list of prohibited parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow the App Store's terms.
11Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before going to court, contact us at support@egoras.com so we can try to settle it. Disputes go to the courts of Nigeria, unless consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they apply. Using CubeLine after that means you accept the new terms.
