01What is Realia?+
Realia (from the Latin for "real things") are assets whose tokens are redeemable claims on the real world — real products and services. Every Realia market on Egoras Exchange is listed on spot and margin and backed 1:1 in verified custody, and every token can be burned exactly once, in exchange for the real thing. One token. One real thing. One redemption.
02How is this different from a commodity ETF or futures?+
An ETF gives you paper exposure to a price; you can never take delivery. Every Realia token is minted against a specific product in custody or a service ready to be rendered, and you can burn it at any time to claim the real thing itself.
03What actually backs each token?+
Each market is a real product batch or a provider’s service capacity. The producer or provider places backing in custody, an ERC20 is minted 1:1 against it on Cube Chain under the Redex Standard, and outstanding supply always maps to what can actually be delivered. Redeemed or settled tokens are burned — nothing redeemed ever re-enters supply.
04Can I just trade the price, or do I have to redeem?+
Either. Trade the price movement on spot or on margin up to 20× and never touch the underlying — or redeem your holding for the real product or service. Redemption is always yours to exercise, never forced.
05How does margin work without a house taking the other side?+
Margin markets are peer-to-peer: every long is matched by a short, zero-sum, with isolated margin up to 20×. The exchange matches and settles — it never trades against you.
06Who can list on Egoras Exchange?+
Any producer or service provider who meets the Redex Standard: verified backing in custody, supply capped to real capacity, one-way redemption. Listing mints a real ERC20 for the batch, allow-lists it on the settlement vault, and opens spot and margin order books — no listing committee.
